**Description Overview**:
Oversight and accountability for regulatory licencing and post marketing regulatory activities for all products (medicines and medical devices) marketed within UK & Ireland. Ensuring strategies and relationships with local authorities align with the business needs of Perrigo UK and Ireland. Responsible for supervising direct reports.

**Scope of the Role**:

- Ensures company’s regulatory affairs activities are conducted according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
- Establishes and maintains good relationship with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate basis to marketing strategies are identified and/or implemented; assists in identification of advanced regulatory strategies for regulatory classifications within scope.
- Provides advisory to company’s management on emerging regulations and developments in industry, particularly in the field of medicines.
- Supporting innovations and product development from inception to post marketing activity.
- Manages a team of regulatory affairs professionals

**Experience Required**:

- A scientific degree in a pharmaceutical, chemical or biological discipline.
- Likely to have approx. 8 years Regulatory Affairs, ideally within UK or EU OTC including Post Marketing Licence Maintenance activities, renewals, safety updates and submission of MAAs.
- Must have leadership experience, and experience from launching new products and interactions with PAGB and ClearCast.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Spoken and written communication skills should be excellent; you will be expected to represent Perrigo as the regulatory “applicant” and interact with external agencies.
- High accuracy, accountability and attention to detail.
- Good interaction skills with marketing and commercial teams.
- A view of regulatory affairs as a business enabling function, supporting the internal stakeholders with interactive discussions on claims and campaign execution
