Job Overview:
Pattemores Dairy Ingredients have been established for over 85 years. We are a Medium sized, family owned and run business in the food manufacturing industry based on the Somerset / Dorset border just outside of Crewkerne.

We are a professional, customer-focused operation that produce quality dairy ingredients for the food industry.

Full training will be given, including Fork Lift Truck, Chemical Handling and all relevant Health & Safety instruction.

**Duties**:

- Day to day running of the Water Treatment Plant
- Conduct water quality testing and analysis
- Operate and maintain water treatment equipment
- Monitor and adjust chemical feed rates
- Troubleshoot and resolve water treatment issues
- Maintain accurate records of water treatment processes
- Collaborate with team members to optimize water treatment procedures
- Basic Maintenance completed according to schedules, ie. changing filter pads
- Plant compliant with Environment Agency discharge consent
- Plant maintained within Health & Safety guidelines and relevant procedures
- Escalation of any issues likely to impact continuity of plant operation.
- Effectively manage stocks of chemicals and consumables, ensuring levels are monitored and topped up as required.

**Skills**:

- Basic Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
- Ability to Work at Height as the role involves climbing ladders
- As a lone worker, you will need to be self-starting and self-motivated

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
