**Context and purpose of role**:
The Program Manager will have day to day responsibility for leading in the delivery of complex multi-faceted international programs of work. Taking specific responsibility for leading a significant system change program with one of RLD’s key customers, includingtaking direct responsibility for ensuring the effective introduction of effective programmatic governance, tracking and reporting. The Program Manager will work with a wide of variety business and customer stakeholders, to support high quality program delivery.

**Principal Job Elements & Responsibilities**:

- To work and build relationships with functional leaders across RLDatix to ensure effective program delivery
- To support the effective mobilisation of program organisations and delivery teams to ensure the effective program delivery and benefits realisation, including establishing governance forums, defining roles and responsibilities and holding key program membersto account
- To lead on the design, implementation and management of programs under their day to day management.
- To manage all aspects of Program Governance, Control and Quality, including the establishment and management of program related meetings and forums (SteerCo’s, Team meetings etc) to ensure program benefits are realised
- To support the definition of appropriate KPIs and Success Criteria against which program delivery and benefits realisation can be measured
- To have direct responsibility for the coordination, processes and controls that support effective delivery in partnership where appropriate with customers and other business functions (Product Management, Services, Support, Sales, Marketing, Finance etc)
- To provide accurate and timely reporting on all aspects of Programs, ensuring risks and issues, dependencies etc are appropriately managed, identified, controlled and where appropriate mitigated
- To work with other business functions to deliver consistently high-quality customer experiences

- Establish and run effective governance, drive decision making, identifying, and removing obstacles to progress, resolving any conflicting stakeholder issues
- To manage performance, enable timely intervention and ensure awareness across related business functions
- Manage the program to deliver objectives and business outcomes; identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies; devising mitigating actions where required; and effectively escalating where necessary
- Make operational recommendations on and ensure effective financial management, and return on investment
- Aid in the effective governance of plans, budget, and scope, ensuring clear responsibility and accountability for the delivery of the program to time, cost & quality requirements
- Aid in the management of the inter-relationship with Customers and the wider business

**Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Demonstrable Portfolio, Program or PMO experience and software / systems projects and change management
- Experience of working in a software / technical environment.
- Demonstrable track record, and sufficient gravitas and experience, to deliver positive, high impact business outcomes and change.
- Experience of establishing a Portfolio Management function in a Software context business is highly desirable
- PMO / Project Management related qualifications highly desirable i.e., Agile, MSP, Prince2
- Working in the technology sector highly desirable
- Sound MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
