PLANNING & OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE - ON TRADE
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Here at Diageo, we are looking for a commercially minded Field Sales Planning & Operations Exec to support in executing our Field Sales strategy. Working across our category leading brands, the successful applicant will be working closely with internal and external sales teams, as well as internal cross functional departments to unlock the maximum value from delivering best in class operations, reporting, system set up, training and issue resolution to unlock value through performance, system and reporting and M&E to drive our on-trade strategy and maximise results.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSAIBILITIES AS FIELD SALES PLANNING & OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE?
- Partner with the Field Sales Planning & Operations Manager, SNR NAM, product owners and 3rd party providers to deliver our strategy with flawless reporting & system operations.
- Lead set up and build of internal and external reporting and systems, supporting sales teams with best-in-class sales tools and crucially streamlining processes to maximise performance delivery of the on-trade strategy.
- Ensure the delivery of world class system training materials and system testing.
- Ownership of key performance reports to enable insight and action to lead to transparent performance management across external sales teams.
- Manage ongoing creation and refining of call files to drive optimisation through physical and voice callage
- Manage day to day BAU issue resolution for our sales teams.
- Collaborate with cross functional internal and external teams to interpret insight and reporting to respond to the needs of our sales team to drive best in class execution of our strategy.
WHAT WILL YOU HAVE
- Must have sales experience 1 year in order to “make the right call” from day 1
- Strong excel capability with strength in data and system skill sets.
- Organised with strength in prioritisation - comfortable managing and owning critical paths, project plans and holding others to account.
- Has a strong network and comfortable working in cross level teams to gain alignment and support speed of decision making across the business?
