About the role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with expertise in managing challenging behaviours, particularly in children prone to screaming. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with children facing diverse challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, focusing on those with challenging behaviours, including screaming tendencies.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of students with SEN.
