About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in managing and supporting students with challenging behaviours. In this role, you will work closely with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and supporting their social, emotional, and educational development. You will be part of a supportive team of educators who are committed to providing personalised, high-quality education to every child. This is a full-time, long-term role, perfect for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Application Requirements:
• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
• A patient, empathetic approach with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviours, helping them to stay engaged in their learning.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering individualised education programs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe and supported.
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
