Warehouse Manager

My client based in Wimbledon are looking for a full-time on-site Interim Warehouse Manager on a fixed term contract for up to 1 year, with potential for extension or a permanent role in the future. The right candidate would be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to order fulfilment, inventory control, inbound/putaway operations, H&S, value-added services, logistics administration and managing a team of 5 FTEs and flexible labour.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure B2C and B2B orders are shipped to customers on time and in full
* Ensure container deliveries from suppliers are offloaded and put away on time and accurately
* Maintain performance KPIs for all core processes in the warehouse, including picking, packing, re-packing, put away, inventory control
* Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
* Control warehouse and logistics purchases
* Eliminate waste and encourage a productive and collaborative working environment
* Work with Supply Chain team to manage storage space efficiently
Experience:
* Warehouse Manager experience preferred, or a minimum of 2 years in an Assistant Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor position
* Forklift-trained and licensed
* Experience of managing a team
