Salary up to circa £26,000 per annum depending on experience

We are working with a well-established, Lexcel and CQS accredited law firm, who are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their growing residential conveyancing team at their lovely office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

The role will involve:

Providing support to a busy conveyancing team
Drafting, issuing and chasing contracts
Liaising with and developing relationships with referrers
Providing quotations 
Liaising with clients by email, phone and face to face
Opening, closing, storing and retrieving files 
Preparing correspondence using a legal case management system
Preparing files for completion, drafting completion statements
Reporting to client on searches, mortgage contract and title pack
Checking MLR and having documents signed off
Raising enquiries with sellers' solicitors and replying to enquiries of buyers' solicitors.Suitable candidates will have:

A minimum of 12 months' conveyancing experience 
A desire to progress your career within conveyancing 
The ability to prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines 
Excellent communication skills and client care skillsThis a full-time office-based, permanent job working 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
