Position: SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Newham, London
Employer: GSL Education
Position Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
As an SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with SEMH needs in Newham. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, implementing strategies to manage behaviour and promote emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
