The Role - Medical Field Service Engineer, Medical Lasers

Following planned expansion, this market leading optical group now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Medical Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of leading edge fully networked medical laser systems, with innovative products dedicated to a broad range of medical applications with include optometry, dentistry, radiotherapy, surgical microscopy, digital visualisation, neurosurgery and gynaecology. 

This exciting role is home based, and will involve travelling to hospitals, healthcare centres and medical establishments throughout London, the South East and Home Counties regions. The successful applicant will need to reside in the areas mentioned above, and ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

Your Background - Medical Field Service Engineer, Medical Lasers

Suitable candidates for this excellent role will need to possess a qualification in electronics, engineering or science, to a minimum of ONC level, and have gained experience working in a customer facing field service or technical support environment.

Experience of optics, lasers or ophthalmic applications is preferred. Applications are encouraged from Field Service Engineers from a wide range of electronic based high value capital equipment sectors, including medical device, print press, laboratory device, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or other high value instrumentation environments. Full and extensive product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service, your application will be considered.
