PE Global is recruiting a Shipping Co-Ordinator for our multinational mining and shipping client based in Peterborough. The role is hybrid and an initial 6-month contract.

Responsibilities of the role:
• Arrange for shipments of products to be despatched to customers based on available product
• Working with carriers and customers to agree collection schedules
• Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts
• Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas

Requirements:
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques
• Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy
• Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change
• Knowledge of issues, procedures, tools and practices of importing and exporting; ability to import and export goods to and from international locations
• Knowledge of transportation
