The Company

The Vigilance Group was formed in 2007 and now operates from a 20,000 sq ft facility in Bristol, where it stocks in excess of £1,000,000 worth of new & used Conventional & CNC machine tools & industrial equipment, selling 250 to 300 machines each year. We have two divisions within the Business; Vigilance Engineering Safety Products Ltd (where all financials for the Group are reported through) and Machine Tool Sales Online. Additionally, MTSO is the UK’s stocking distributor for the new range of MACH Machine Tools.

The Role

Using the firms extensive CRM system, engage with existing customers and recent enquirers, over the phone, to understand their needs and provide solutions related to machine tools sales.

To develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

To effectively communicate the features and benefits of machine tools to potential customers handing over potential customers to the internal specialists to conclude the deal if required.

Collaborate with the sales and applications teams to meet and exceed sales targets.

Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process.

The Person

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the machine tools or engineering supplies industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills

Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.

Positive attitude.

Nice To Have:

Strong technical knowledge of machine tools and their applications.

Customer Management System experience
