About the role:

We're hiring a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) starting ASAP. This is a part-time position, three days a week. You'll provide support to a Key Stage 2 class, including SEN students, collaborating closely with teachers and possibly other TAs in small groups. Our school emphasises strong parent relationships, fosters inclusivity, and offers teachers admin support.

Application Requirements:

• Previous TA experience, especially in primary schools, preferred.

• Understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum and SEN support strategies required.

• Strong interpersonal skills for student, colleague, and parent interaction.

• Ability to adapt and collaborate in diverse classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing targeted support to individual students or small groups as needed to enhance understanding and progress in Key Stage 2 subjects.

• Implement tailored interventions and support strategies to address specific learning needs of students, including those with SEN, to promote academic growth and development.

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment by promoting positive behavior, supporting diverse learning styles, and collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure all students feel valued and supported in their educational journey.
