We pride ourselves on offering a rich curriculum that includes focused subjects such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), alongside a variety of extracurricular activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities. Our school is SEN-friendly and committed to providing a supportive environment for all learners to thrive.

About the role:

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, particularly anxiety. This full-time position is integral to our school community and offers a competitive daily rate between £85-£100, dependent on experience and qualifications.

You will join a dynamic team of educators dedicated to nurturing individual growth and fostering a positive learning experience for all. This role has become available due to increased student enrolment and the need for additional support in SEMH provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with SEMH needs in classroom activities, ensuring their emotional well-being and engagement.

• Implement individualised support plans and interventions under the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and emotional resilience.

• Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and well-being.

Joining our team offers more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.
