About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialisation in SEMH to join our vibrant school community in Ealing, London. You will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional and academic development of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is essential.

• Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning are highly desirable.

• Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies to support SEMH needs.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support and mentoring to students with SEMH needs, promoting their social and emotional wellbeing.

• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to achieve their potential.

• Collaborate effectively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver integrated support plans that meet the holistic needs of students.

• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers as required.
