Application Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs, specifically those with challenging behaviours.
- A strong understanding of SEN strategies and techniques, particularly for managing and supporting behavioural needs.
- Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN or teaching assistance is desirable.
- Support students with challenging behaviours in both one-on-one and group settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to adapt lessons and provide differentiated support.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Monitor and report on student progress, offering feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions to stay updated on the latest SEN practices and methodologies.
