Role: ILS Engineer

Site Location: Cheltenham

Rate: £65 - 75 per hour (Inside IR35 Via Umbrella)

Duration: 6 Month contract

Happy for contractor to be remote with the occasional travel to the Cheltenham office.

Key Activities:

To generate essential logistics products needed by the user for long-term system support, including the following:
Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) o Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC)
Maintenance Support and ILS Plans
Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Maintenance Task Analysis
Spares and Repair Parts Recommendations
Support Equipment and Recommendations Data (SERD)
Technical Manuals and Support Documentation
Supply Support (Provisioning) dataEssential Responsibilities

Works closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure inter-disciplinary communication and development of logistics products.
Works with the Integrated Logistics Support function Lead to include oversight of Technical Manuals, Provisioning artifacts, and other logistics products.
Interprets technical contract requirements and customer product specifications to identify system or product supportability objectives, and then guides the project in compliant system development.
Develops maintenance concepts, strategies, and workflows.
Experience working with engineering teams to design in system supportability concepts and improvements.
Experience with system design, drawings, and other source documentation to create family tree.
Document's maintenance analysis in customer dictated logistic support analysis records, following specified requirements.
Experience managing logistics processes and schedules.
Conducts validation/verification activities for technical manuals.
Experience performing post-production logistics functions, including spares procurement and replenishment, writing depot repair procedures, system warranty administration, contractor logistics support planning and management, and development of logistics management information system.
Ensures project compliance with ITAR requirements as they apply to system logistics.
Experience of NPI/CADMID process
