About the role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join our team. This full-time, long-term position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students.
As part of our supportive and dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in helping children overcome obstacles and thrive in their educational journey. You will be supported by experienced teachers and work in a school environment that values your contributions and professional growth.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and effective strategies for supporting these needs.
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teachers and parents.
• A passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in education or SEN support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children with challenging behaviours in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settings.
• Implement tailored strategies and interventions to address individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt learning materials that meet the needs of students.
• Provide emotional and practical support to students, helping them to build confidence and resilience.
