Working within a knowledgeable, experienced Sales team, this role is consultative in nature with a high % of sales won via internal enquiries. With a mixture of account management and new business development this will suit a Sales Engineer who loves talking engineering and providing the right solution to benefit the client. Role Description

* Management and further development of existing accounts and establishing new business.

* Receiving internally and generating high-quality sales leads, from concept through to proposal / tender.

* Reviewing orders, negotiating prices and closing sales.

* Discussing equipment system requirements with customers and engineers.

* Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

* Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.

* Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain products to customers.

* Attending client’s sites and trade shows to market products & services.

* Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.

Skills and Qualifications.

* Capital Plant / Engineering Machinery Sales experience.

* A proven track record of achieving sales within an engineering / manufacturing business.

* Ability to build rapport and relationships with a variety of stakeholders and decision makers.

* Strong communication skills and organisational ability.

* Qualified in an engineering or commercial discipline (desirable but not a pre-requisite).

* Ambition, hunger and motivation to progress in the future.

* Happy to work in an office environment as this role is office based.
