This SEND school in Salisbury is looking to employ a full-time Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis to support the learning of pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

About the role

Children have access to a range of onsite activities including forest school, hydrotherapy, jacuzzi, music therapy, trampolining and benefit from large grounds to play on. Offsite activities include horse-riding

About the school

The school welcome applicants from a range of educational, care and support work backgrounds.

School hours for a Learning Support Assistant are Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 3:30, term-time only. Start date is the beginning of September 2024, but can potentially be sooner.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Unqualified Learning Support Assistant you will:

Be enthusiastic and reliable
Have the ability to work with children with a range of additional and complex needs
Have good communication skills
Be patient and resilient

Salary

£84 to £90 per day (dependent on experience)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
