Teaching Assistant - Sport & Behavioural Support

Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

Location: Caerphilly

Pay Rate: From £84.50 per day

Hours: Full-time 8:30am - 3:30pm (school term time)

Are you passionate about sport and supporting vulnerable learners who have additional learning needs? PE Direct, a specialist recruitment agency in South Wales dedicated to physical education (PE) and additional learning needs (ALN), is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant at PE Direct, you will provide support to pupils with additional learning needs, including ASD, PMLD, and SEMH. You will play a crucial role in helping students aged 3-19 years old feel confident in their learning abilities and achieve their academic, social, and emotional milestones.

Your role responsibilities:

* Support pupils aged 11 - 16 years old with additional learning needs and challenging behaviours.

* Experience working with children in the last 3 years.

* Background in Sport, ALN, or Education

* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
