We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our client's dynamic team for a large residential development project in Wembley. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction activities to ensure project goals and milestones are met.

* Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering/site teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.

* Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with specifications.

* Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and resolve any technical issues.

* Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.

* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, design modifications, and site assessments.

* Mentorship: Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

* Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior engineering role on large-scale residential projects.

* Professional Certification: Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent is highly desirable.

* Skills:

* Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro).

* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations.

* Excellent project management and organizational skills.

* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to lead and motivate a team
