Responsibilities:

* Site Management: Supervise the daily operations of the waste household site, ensuring all activities are performed efficiently and safely.

* Team Leadership: Lead a team of site operatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and compliance with safety standards.

* Customer Service: Oversee customer interactions, ensuring that the public receives excellent service and that their waste disposal needs are met promptly and courteously.

* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all site operations comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety checks and maintain up-to-date safety records.

* Waste Management: Coordinate the sorting, handling, and disposal of household waste. Implement and monitor waste reduction and recycling programs.

* Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of equipment and supplies. Ensure that all necessary materials are available and maintained in good condition.

* Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on site operations, including waste volumes, recycling rates, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving site operations and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Proven experience in waste management or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.

* Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with waste management practices and regulations. Proficient in using computer software for reporting and record-keeping.

Must have own transportation to commute between sites

Must be able to work Friday Saturday and Sunday

Worked in same or similar supervisory role
