Reception Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at a well-regarded primary school in St Albans. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping young learners achieve their full potential as they embark on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in the Reception class.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, play-based learning, and the development of key early years skills.
Assess, monitor, and record the progress of pupils, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants, SEN coordinators, and senior leadership, to support the holistic development of each child.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support pupils' learning and well-being.
Uphold the school's ethos and values, promoting a love for learning, respect, and kindness among pupils.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Early Years Education or significant experience teaching in the EYFS.
A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and a passion for early childhood education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young children.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Experience working with children with diverse needs and abilities, including those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.What We Offer:
