Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? Zest Education is looking for dedicated individuals to join a special educational needs school as Teaching Assistant in Leamington Spa.
Roles Available: Full-time and Part-time
Start Date: September 2024
Long-term Position with Potential for Further Employment
About the School:
- Catering to students aged 7-16 with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP)
- Focused on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships with students
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Background in a care environment or special school setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other support staff
- Enthusiasm for promoting positive behaviour and attitudes among students
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in managing and organizing classroom activities
- Support the inclusion of all pupils in the learning process
- Set high expectations for student behaviour and engagement

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum)
