We are hiring for a CNC Service Engineer to join a specialised cutting solutions. This role involves servicing and repairing high-specification 4 axis CNC milling machine tools throughout the UK and Ireland. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring machines are operating efficiently and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to service calls across the UK, diagnosing and repairing machine breakdowns.
Test, install, and commission a variety of CNC equipment, ensuring accurate functionality.
Perform detailed electrical and mechanical fault finding to identify and rectify issues.
Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring comprehensive understanding of machine operations.
Assemble, set up, and dismantle pneumatic and technical mechanical assemblies with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications.

Skills and Experience: As a CNC Service Engineer, you should possess:

Proven experience in CNC machine tool service or maintenance.
Strong proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems.
Expertise in 24v CNC control systems and associated safety protocols.
Competence with Servo Drive & Inverter Systems (Panasonic MINAS Servo Drives & Toshiba VF Inverters).
Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
Flexibility for extensive travel and overnight stays as required.
Self-motivation and organisational skills to manage vehicle equipment, parts, and tooling.
