Role Overview: The Building Services Manager will manage and competently lead the delivery of the Mechanical, Electrical and public health services installations of the schemes within the companies project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for the managing of each stage of the project delivery process, to ensure all works are fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract programme.
* You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated person able to work as part of a team, be methodical and have strong communication and interpersonal skills .
* Responsible for managing regular progress review meetings and the preparation of stage reports for regular weekly/ monthly update within the business.
* You will need to manage your own time with regard to your day-to-day duties, where punctual project delivery is essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A BTEC in Building Services Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Engineering or
* Mechanical Engineering or a HNC / HND / Degree in Building Services Engineering
* Considerable industry experience design management of live schemes and pre-construction activities
* A strong team player comfortable liaising with differing management and client teams.
* Strong IT skills
* A strong understanding of Quality, Safety, Environmental and Legislative systems and
* procedures
* An appreciation of phasing and construction programming
* Being able to identify risk and opportunity
* Strong written and verbal presentation skills
* Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales and deadlines
* Working knowledge of Breeam, Part L, Building Regs and industry standards
