Job Title: Building Services Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Manager with a Mechanical Bias to join our team in Reading, overseeing projects around the outskirts of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Building Services Manager in managing and leading the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and public health services installations.
- Manage each stage of the project delivery process, ensuring all works are coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract programme.
- Manage your own time effectively, with punctual project delivery being essential.
Requirements:
- A relevant mechanical or building services qualification.
- Considerable industry experience, ideally working for a large sub-contractor or main contractor delivering new build projects.
- Previous new build project experience in education, health, commercial, or sports facilities.
- Design management of live schemes and pre-construction activities.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- A strong understanding of Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Legislative systems and procedures.
- An appreciation of phasing and construction programming.
- Ability to identify risk and opportunity.
- Working knowledge of Breeam, Part L, Building Regs, and industry standards.
- Company Car or Car allowance of £6000.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays and an additional holiday day.
