Job Title: Director - Building Services Contractor

Are you a seasoned Building Services Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in managing MEP projects and teams? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Director - Building Services Contractor.

Job Summary:

We are a leading provider of building services, and we are looking for a Director - Building Services Contractor to oversee our projects across Reading, London, and Oxford. As a Director - Building Services Contractor, you will be responsible for managing the MEP team, overseeing projects, and ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the MEP team and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the design consultants to ensure that the MEP design is accurate and meets the client's requirements.
  • Manage the progress and programme of the project's delivery, particularly in relation to M&E.
  • Minimize risks associated with the projects and involvement with Value Engineering (VE).
  • Full management and selection of the M&E subcontractors and other relevant external/internal agents.
  • Health and Safety input at a strategic level.
  • Quality.
  • Deal with any variations to the scope of the project and work closely with the commercial team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in managing MEP projects and teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of building services and MEP systems.
