Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for their exciting nursing home near the Wellington area. As the Deputy Manager of this home, you will support the delivery of the high-quality care that this provider is known for. They are looking for someone who has a passion for taking ownership and someone who's able to lead through positivity whilst motivating staff.

Working closely with the Home Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with everything from audits, medication, care plans, rotas, and clinical tasks. You will inspire a team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring care standards.

The provider prides themselves in providing outstanding care and are leading experts on dementia, elderly, and residential care. They also have quality assured procedures to make sure their services are regularly assessed.

The Candidate
As the Deputy Manager, you must be nurse qualified (RGN/RMN) and experienced working with nursing home residents. You will be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in an engaging and energetic environment.

Requirements
RGN/RMN Qualified (Essential)
Nursing Home experience (Essential)
Experience as a Deputy/Unit manager, Clinical Lead or Ward Manager (Essential)
A genuine passion for elderly care
Good communication Skills
Active and clean pin
Passionate
Team Player
Good coaching skills

Location
This role is based within the Wellington area and is easily commutable from Taughton, Somerset, Exeter, North Petherton, Bridgewater, Honiton, Chardm Tiverton, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Crewkerne, Yeovil, Glastonbury, Dulverton and Cullompton.

Summary
My client is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager with experience working in a nursing home environment. The successful candidate must be able to lead and inspire a team to provide high-quality care. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £52,000+.
