Job Purpose

To ensure that all aspects of the Supply Chain are coordinated efficiently and accurately, playing a key role with the overall coordination of order out put on time and in full.

Position Summary:

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Planner to join their team in the soft fruit production sector. This order-centric role focuses on ensuring the seamless management of orders, haulage, and delivery processes. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Collate, analyse and plan customer orders in a timely way liaising with all internal stakeholders.

Process Day 1 confirmed orders with any amendments already agreed with customers, growers and packhouses.

Manage information flow through specific customer portals where required.

Plan and book haulage details from various grower sites – maintain communication until finalised.

Check post-delivery and address any product claims overs / shortages.

Ensure effective and clear communication with any Internal and external stakeholders. Build on these relationships to reinforce your area of authority.

Have a mind-set for Continuous Improvement and initiate change where necessary.

Generate and analyse reports on key metrics, such as order accuracy, delivery times, and inventory levels.

Implement a "Right First Time" approach to ensure orders are processed correctly and quality standards are met.

Coordinate with sales and production teams to ensure order fulfilment meets customer specifications and timelines.

Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Microsoft – good, Prophet Pr3 – advantageous.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
