Reeson Education is actively recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a vibrant primary school in Tottenham. This role is focused on supporting two children with EHCPs who have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and speech and language difficulties.

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing targeted support to these pupils, helping them navigate their learning environment. The ideal candidate will have previous SEN experience, be bold and confident, and be able to hit the ground running from day one. The SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that the children receive the appropriate support to thrive in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

One-on-One Support: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored assistance to two children with EHCPs, focusing on their specific needs related to ASC and speech and language development.
Behavioral Support: The SEN Teaching Assistant will implement strategies to manage and encourage positive behaviour, creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
Communication Assistance: The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with speech and language therapists to help the children develop their communication skills.
Classroom Integration: Ensure that the pupils are fully integrated into classroom activities, with the SEN Teaching Assistant adapting lessons and tasks to meet their individual needs.
Collaborative Work: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will liaise with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.Why Join This School?
