Job specification:

* Manage a small team of engineers in the design / development and validation of Safety Belt Application Engineering activities.

* Establishing customer requirements

* Defining specifications for product manufacture

* Defining and planning testing and sign off prior to production.

Person specification:

* Engineer with automotive experience (ideally seatbelts)

* Experience managing a small team, delivering engineering solutions

* Experience of 2D Autocad, 3D Solidworks, APQP, FMEA’s, Engineering Change Control, PPAP and IMDS, IATF16949 would be desirable.

* Professional Engineering Qualifications

* Good knowledge and experience of engineering manufacturing processes /techniques, especially, stamping and injection moulding.

* Good knowledge and experience of Quality Management System requirements.

* Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm & Fridays 8am to 1pm.

* On site

* Based in Portsmouth
