Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and BI solutions using Power BI and Fabric.

* Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the BI system.

* Design and create interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI.

* Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Build data models and schemas to support efficient querying and data retrieval.

* Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

* Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to understand business needs and objectives.

* Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.

* Optimise Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and scalability.

* Implement best practices for data management, data quality, and governance.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation for all BI solutions, including data sources, models, and reporting structures.

* Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.

* Provide timely resolution to technical issues and user queries

Technical Skills:

* Proficient in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.

* Experience with Fabric or similar data integration platforms.

* Strong SQL skills.

* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Capable of analysing complex data sets and providing actionable insights.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts and other team members.

* Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Professional Experience:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar BI developer role.

* Proven track record of developing and deploying BI solutions in a business environment.

* Experience in the UK Energy Supply or Utilities industry is advantageous
