Job Title: Site Manager (Steel Frame Experience)

Location: Colchester, Essex

About Us: Our client is a tier 1 construction firm specializing in large-scale industrial projects. With a reputation for delivering quality and excellence, we are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with expertise in steel frame construction to oversee a significant industrial warehouse project.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Site Manager to manage and oversee all on-site activities for a large industrial warehouse project. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with steel frame construction and a proven track record of managing large-scale industrial projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues promptly.

* Liaise with the project management team, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.

* Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

* Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise, maintaining a focus on project objectives and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on large industrial projects, with specific expertise in steel frame construction.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials related to steel frame structures.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

* Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
