Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Site Manager to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. As a Night Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction site operations, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards, and managing a team of site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Site Management Plans: Develop and implement a comprehensive site management plan, ensuring that all works are constructed defect-free and in accordance with the client's requirements.
  2. Site Operations Management: Manage and supervise the site team, ensuring that all site operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  3. Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and that all necessary risk assessments and method statements are in place.
  4. Team Management: Manage, supervise, and mentor the site team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to carry out their duties effectively.
  5. Quality Control: Ensure that all works are completed to the highest standards, and that all quality control measures are in place.
  6. Cost Management: Manage and control site costs, ensuring that all expenses are in line with the client's budget.
  7. Programme Management: Ensure that all site programmes are realistic and achievable, and that all necessary updates are made in a timely manner.
  8. Record Keeping: Ensure that all site records, including measurement and payment records, are accurate and up-to-date.
  9. Communication: Maintain effective communication with the client, site personnel, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all site operations are carried out in a transparent and efficient manner.

Person Specification:

  1. Qualifications: Recognized Civil Engineering or Site Management qualifications, including Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate or SMSTS).
  2. Experience: Proven experience in site management, including experience in managing a team of site personnel.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Certifications: Valid driving license, CSCS Site Manager (Min), and First Aid at Work certification.

Desirable:

  1. Incorporated or Chartered Status: Incorporated or Chartered status in a relevant professional body.
