- Develop and Implement Site Management Plans: Develop and implement a comprehensive site management plan, ensuring that all works are constructed defect-free and in accordance with the client's requirements.
- Site Operations Management: Manage and supervise the site team, ensuring that all site operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and that all necessary risk assessments and method statements are in place.
- Team Management: Manage, supervise, and mentor the site team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to carry out their duties effectively.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all works are completed to the highest standards, and that all quality control measures are in place.
- Cost Management: Manage and control site costs, ensuring that all expenses are in line with the client's budget.
- Programme Management: Ensure that all site programmes are realistic and achievable, and that all necessary updates are made in a timely manner.
- Record Keeping: Ensure that all site records, including measurement and payment records, are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the client, site personnel, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all site operations are carried out in a transparent and efficient manner.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: Recognized Civil Engineering or Site Management qualifications, including Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate or SMSTS).
- Experience: Proven experience in site management, including experience in managing a team of site personnel.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Valid driving license, CSCS Site Manager (Min), and First Aid at Work certification.
Desirable:
- Incorporated or Chartered Status: Incorporated or Chartered status in a relevant professional body.
