Pertemps Sheffield are currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors, to join one of our long-standing clients Sheffield Hallam University in their Hallam Help team.

Your role will be to provide high-quality, customer-centred advice and guidance by primarily answering phone and email queries during the busy start of semester period. There may be some opportunities for face-to-face help point opportunities as well, but this will not be the main element of the role.

Main Duties:

Delivering first level advice and guidance, to students (prospective, current and past), staff, external organisations and visitors, adhering to service standards
To provide an integrated consistent model of customer support, working in collaboration with other University services to ensure prevention, early invention and timely resolution of practical and/or welfare issues
Ensuring effective use of administrative systems, record keeping within an agreed framework
Maintaining confidentiality and treating sensitive issues with appropriate tact and diplomacy, working in accordance with the data protection legislationSuccessful Candidates:

Previous administrative experience
Experience with dealing with customer issues and resolutions, answering queries and signposting/escalating more complex issues as appropriate
Experience working effectively in an environment of regulations and procedures, e.g. Data Protection Legislations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent work ethic with a positive can-do attitudeWorking Hours, Pay Rate and Other Information:

You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5pm. The pay rate for the role will be £12.60 per hour and the assignment is being offered on a temporary basis, with the duration being 7 weeks only.
Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 28th August, with a start date of 2nd September.
