The company and group:
A true global business and a major player within the UK Civil Engineering & Infrastructure construction and maintenance sector supporting high value projects.
Summary:
This major local district project will include construction of new roads, associated earthworks as well as drainage, lighting and signage.
Based on site. Reporting to the Sub Agent, the Site Engineer will be the main technical advisor on site, whilst aiding efficient delivery of all secured contracts, ensuring management of key client expectations / contracts and generally undertaking all aspects of highway civil engineering.
This will include accurate setting out and measurement, assisting in ensuring the compliance with all quality procedures, safe working practices and that all works are executed to the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards.
Experience & Qualifications required:

Must have a recognised qualification in Civil Engineering/ Construction

Minimum of 2 years in a similar discipline with highways experience preferred
*
Proficient with setting out techniques and equipment
*
Working knowledge of health and safety & HR procedures
*
Previous experience of NEC & ICE contracting standards
*
NRSWA / SMSTS or equivalent accreditation
*
Full clean driving license
*
CSCS Card
