A leading technology firm in Newton, Powys are requiring an Accountant on part-time interim basis to , cover for maternity. They are one of the UK's automobile software providers with thousands of customers and award winning systems.

Role Description

This is a part-time interim on-site role (two to three days per week) for a Financial Reporting Accountant in Newtown, Powys. The Financial Reporting Accountant will work with the accounts team in helping to preparing, analyse and verify financial statements, working on finance consolidation, and ensuring accurate financial data for the organisation. The role is expected to last for 6 months (with a possibility of extension) to assist the team during a period of maternity leave

Qualifications

* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

* Knowledge of reporting under both UK GAAP and IFRS

* Experience in consolidation of international business entities

* Experience and knowledge of tax accounting

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

* Employment Type

Part-time. Interim – initial 6 months
