About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in non-verbal Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our supportive team at a modern community school in Collindale, London. This full-time role requires a compassionate individual to provide tailored support to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring they receive the individualised education they need to succeed. You will work closely with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Building strong relationships with parents is essential to ensure the best outcomes for our students. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a vibrant and diverse educational setting.

• Experience working with non-verbal children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Strong understanding of ASD and effective communication strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
