Temporary - Data Coordinator -Scientific

Job Title: Scientific Officer - Anti Microbial Resistance
Location: Addlestone (hybrid working available with minimum 3 days in the office per week)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Temporary assignment for 3 months
You will be working with a leading organisation, in the heart of their policy team, working with key stakeholders across the business to deliver an annual report, highlighting commitments for the company 5 year action plan. Working alongside a team of specialists, you will be supporting a range of projects providing comprehensive administration support.
Although training will be provided, we are looking for someone with a strong understanding, gained either through industry experience or education, in the following:
* Antimicrobial resistance in animals
* Key animal health/ farming issues
* Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
* Analysis of large, sometimes complex datasets
* Obtain statistics from Defra and associated agencies to aid with further data analysis
* Contribute to the preparation and compilation of antimicrobial sales and use data for annual reporting purposes
Requirements:
* Experience of maintaining scientific datasets to a high standard and preparation of scientific sata for verbal and written reports
* Demonstrable self-efficacy and excellent organisational skills in planning and prioritising workload with competing priorities
* Experience of working effectively with a range of stakeholders within the agricultural, veterinary or scientific sectors.
Qualifications
* You must have a scientific degree - preferably in agricultural science, veterinary bioscience, zoology, or a related discipline.
This is a great opportunity for someone to use their degree or background in veterinary, animal, biological or biomedical science and put this in to practice.
This role is being offered on a temporary basis for 3 months initially, with scope for extension. You will be required to work a minimum of 3 days from the office.
