Working week: 37 hours on 3 rotating shifts

We are now seeking to recruit a Quality Inspector for a busy engineering, manufacturing company based in Lincoln. The suitable Quality Inspector will be working as part of the Quality team to ensure that through various inspection methods, product meets customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Inspection of finished product to meet customer specification.
Inspection of intermediate product ensuring correct specification is met.
Compilation of quality reports where required.
Automated Inspection Cell
Set and run the part marking process.
Where required work within other areas of the Quality department
Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position.
Requirements:

Ability to use various inspection equipment.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.
Ability and willingness to work within a team.
Engineering knowledge base/ background
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Computer literate
Possess strong organisational skills.
The appropriate candidate would be working on 3 rotating shifts:

A Shift                           Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm

No Premium                   Friday 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift                           Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm

20% Premium                Friday 12:35pm to 7pm

C Shift                           Monday to Thursday 8:55pm to 06:10am

30% Premium                Friday – no shift.
