Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an Industry leading client for an experienced Engineering Manager to run a HGV Test Centre. This is an excellent chance for a Manager to join a company that offers solid opportunities for personal development and internal progression.
THE ROLE:
You will be an experienced Manager with a proven track record of managing a workshop within a variety of vehicles from HGV, PSV to Light Vehicles.
THE DUTIES:
* Managing a team of Technicians, Apprentices and Administrators.
* To ensure legislative requirements, Group Health and Safety and Safe Systems of Work are adhered to within the Workshop operation
* To manage all Workshop P&L / KPI’s, Direct and Indirect Costs, Productivity & Compliance objectives
* Sound knowledge of fleet maintenance / workshop management
* Sound knowledge of H&S fundamentals in workshops and transport compliance legislation.
* Demonstrable customer relationship management skills with the flexibility in style, approach to engaging with a number of clients with varying requirements at the same time.
* Ability to negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates.
* Highly numerate and excellent written skills, familiar and confident with Microsoft programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
THE PACKAGE:
* Salary of up to £48,000 dependant on experience
* Working Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00
* On-site Parking
* Excellent Pension Scheme and Holiday Package
