We are supporting an NHS Trust in the East of England region to recruit an interim to provide management, advice and guidance on all workforce related matters including terms and conditions, employee relations, job planning and rota design.

Main role responsibilities:

Provide flexible and proactive support to the Deputy Director of Workforce and all other key stakeholders;
Provide professional support to stakeholders relating to all medical workforce employee relations including highly complex cases including Employment Tribunals;
Provide and support Managers and Medical Leaders on effective job planning;
Produce reports, information and statistics and contribute to the development of appropriate KPI’s relating to medical workforce.
Essential skills and experience:

Associate CIPD Status;
Experience of providing HR business partnering support and managing highly complex employee relations cases;
Experience of developing and reviewing medical workforce policies in line with NHS and other guidance and legislation;
Experienced in developing and implementing medical workforce strategies that support the delivery of workforce plans and objectives;
Proven experience of managing workforce projects, systems and processes to deliver high quality workforce services;
Experience and understanding of all aspects of postgraduate Medical Education and the provision of an optimum learning environment for all doctors in training and medical students;
Expert knowledge of NHS professional terms and condition of employment particularly in relation to the medical workforce;
Experience of working in a large, complex unionised environment, working in partnership with union representatives and senior/ professional staff groups.
