Also known as HSE - health, safety and environment - or OSH - Occupational health & safety - advisers, officers or consultants are responsible for keeping people safe at their work sites.

They develop policies and procedures to make sure people are not harmed by their jobs, investigate and report accidents, and provide guidance to leaders on how to comply with the law.

Your role will be to ensure that the organisations comply with relevant health & safety regulations and promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors and visitors.

Typical duties include:

Assist in the development and implementation of health & safety policies and procedures

Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans

Identfy hazards and recommend corrective actions

Deliver health & safety training programmes

Monitor and review health and safety performance metrics

Keep up to date with relevant health & safety legislation and industry best practices
