Vogan is a small and friendly Chartered Accountants Practice, determined to offer excellent service to clients, so they need the right person to help them do just that. We have some lovely clients so we want to ensure that we have a brilliant team to help them.
The role is for a qualified AAT Accountant in Practice.
We need someone who has experience of bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns and also accounts and personal tax returns for unincorporated businesses is a must. We operate a payroll bureau service for clients, so experience of Payroll Software would be helpful.
In addition, we need someone who has experience in preparing statutory accounts and tax compliance work for limited companies and producing management accounts using Excel and various accounting software packages.
* This is a varied role, requiring a special individual who is a good communicator, enjoys talking to clients and solving their problems with real attention to detail and accuracy.
* Having a “Can Do Approach” is absolutely essential, and you will need to be happy to work in a small team
* Having a high standard of work is just as important as being able to work independently, sometimes on clients’ premises, and being confident about taking responsibility for your own actions and decisions.
* If you are friendly, with a sense of humour and enjoy your work – this job is for you
Term time contracts and flexible working hours considered.
The office opens Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
