About the Job:

My client requires an professional Housing Options Assistant to work within their housing team based in Derby.

You will be having daily contact with customers that require housing advice, are homeless or threatened with homelessness. You will offer advice and work with other agencies to prevent homelessness and find alternative accommodation elsewhere.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and to strict deadlines; at all times ensuring that a high quality standard of work is delivered. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority who are continually look to expand their team.

About You The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in housing advice and/or homelessness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage own workload
Ability to work on own initiative and to meet strict deadlines
