We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, a Project Co-ordinator to join their exsiting team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be educated to HNC level or above in a related field, and have experience of delivering M&E design, manufacture and install projects within Energy, Nuclear, Petrochemical, Aerospace or similar industries, demonstrable experience of working to cost, timescale and quality constraints.
Main duties will include:
* Responsible for the resource Management of the Installations teams and supporting resource planning for the engineering teams.
* Working to support Project activities on tenders and quotes as necessary.
* Carry out the internal control processes of projects to understand and “build” projects from the Business Development handover
* Work closely with Procurement to ensure correct orders are placed and executed on time to allow time bound project delivery.
* Coordinate project meetings and manage minutes and outputs.
* Support the Project management process either directly or via the Project Management team to align to the business processes
* Leading and mentoring the Project Engineer’s assigned to support the above project coordination activities
* Ensuring financial information is accurate, and budgets are aligned to the projects
* Understanding and setting out the project deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders
* Working with the business to ensure that correct resources and suppliers are "On-board" to ensure "Right first time" delivery, within the necessary budgets and quality requirements.
* Commercial understanding and execution of projects to the best advantage of the business, including working with Business Development and Head of Projects to carry out contract reviews on small projects and spares as needed.
* Working with the Project team and other stakeholders to generation accurate project plans, that ensure alignment with project scope, customer deliverables and business capacity.
