Jonathan Lee Recruitment has a part-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunity for an HR Business Advisor to join us at our Parts Distribution Centre based in Daventry. The role comes with an Umbrella rate of £26.75/hr, increasing to £32.32/hr after 12 weeks (inside IR35). The part time role would involve working a maximum of 30 per week across 4 days.

As a HR Business Advisor, you will work in a small friendly HR team to support the distribution centre People Leaders implement strategies to manage c.350 employees in largely manual, warehouse roles. The role is varied, with a strong employee relations element, but also the opportunity for an individual who enjoys HR project work, management/analysis of data and professional HR advisory.

In your first few weeks in this HR Business Advisor role, you can expect to:

Coach and support People Leaders through all HR-related actions, including the resolution of employee relations issues
Support all resourcing requirements aligned to resourcing and skills strategy
Develop effective relationships with all key stakeholders, including People Leaders and Trade Union partners
Use data to proactively identify business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver continuous improvements, aligned to the business strategy, focussed on enhancing the employee experience

Previous HR experience, particularly with a focus on business partnership and experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Varied HR administrative experience and experience working on projects
The ability to undertake coaching business partners
Absence management and experience of disciplinary action processes
Policy interpretation & implementation
